Convert pay between hourly, daily, weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly, quarterly, and annual. Enter a rate in any frequency along with your typical hours and days per week, and see every equivalent — plus a second column that adjusts for paid holidays and vacation.
Formula
The rate you enter is first converted to an unadjusted annual figure, then divided into every period. Time off scales each value down:
Annual (unadjusted) = rate × periods per year (hourly uses hours/week × 52)
Adjusted factor = (days/week × 52 − holidays − vacation) ÷ (days/week × 52)
Adjusted value = unadjusted value × adjusted factor
Pay periods per year
| Frequency | Periods per year |
|---|---|
| Weekly | 52 |
| Bi-weekly | 26 |
| Semi-monthly | 24 |
| Monthly | 12 |
| Quarterly | 4 |
